About Me:
My name is Jamie Johnson and I love Dogs!
My hobby started with Fancy (bless her as she is now in puppy heaven) my Blenheim, King Charles Cavalier I received from a good friend of mine. This was in 2008. Fancy was already named when I got her so I kept her as Fancy. This is also how we got our name Fancy Acres. She was just a sweetheart and her first litter was so much fun that I decided to find her a boyfriend of her own. That is where Ranger (tri color – King Charles Cavalier) came into the picture. (bless him as he is now in puppy heaven) We got him as a puppy and was a puppy at heart. He was named after a character in a book that I was reading at the time. Well of course by then I was having a ball with new puppies and meeting new people and getting picture of the puppies that I had placed and the love that they give to their new home, that why not get another. This is when Ruby came on board. She was also named when I got her but I believe she was named after her color. She was a solid red. (Ruby has been placed in a home in Illinois to live out her retirement) Then came Cooper (Cooper has been placed in a home in Chicago to live out his retirement) because Ruby needed a friend. Cooper was already named when got him but I called him Coop Deville! Then I heard of Cavachons and did some research and purchased Ellie, my bichon. She was named after Ice Age. Manny’s girlfriends name was Ellie and my two daughters loved that movie when we purchased her. We got Ellie when she was 4 months old and is very lovable. And of course, when she had her first puppy we had to call her Peaches. It is always nice to have fun at your hobby. I was having so much fun that I bought another Bichon. Her name is Baby and her Sister named Jade. My daughter decided that Baby was hers and so therefore she got to name her. She is a big Justin Bieber fan and loves the song "Baby, baby, baby!" And that is where we got the name Baby. And Jade was named after a character off a Bratz movie. That was my other daughters naming. Along came Daisy. Daisy is the smallest of the Bichons that I have but she is the loudest by far. She is a very loud dog when she doesn't get the attention first. As the fun became more fun. Libby was next in line. I have always had a love for Cavaliers and Libby fit the picture. Libby came to us around 4th of July and Lady Liberty fit her as well as any name. This was the start of my puppy family and I have loved them all. My three daughters are old now that they help me with chores and puppies. They hate to have to give the puppies to a new home but love to get the pictures We have since added some moms and dad and then retired some moms and dads. This is the story of how we got started. The new moms and dad will be on the mom and dad page if you would like to see pictures of them. Thanks for looking. Good luck in your puppy venture. |
